The IRIS Robotics platform is intended to navigate outdoor environments and relay its video data to an operator or video server via its 802.11n wireless interface. This rugged, mobile system is designed to crawl over rocks, tolerate rain, snow and dust all the while protecting its sophisticated electronics. Command and control is performed by a sunlight readable rugged touch sensitive laptop (sold separately).
